About us

Built by people who live in broken pcaps

The second product from Netomize, a security research company in Toronto.

Who we are

About Netomize

Netomize was founded in June 2025 in Toronto by Mohamad Mokbel, who has over 15 years in cybersecurity research, including Telus Security Lab, CIBC and eight years at Trend Micro DVLabs on TippingPoint IPS.

Frame Bench is the broad workbench: view, decode, edit, analyze and craft. PacketSmith, our first product, is narrower: surgical, stream-level capture repair.

Where it started

How it started

Building PacketSmith meant fixing broken captures daily: loopback pcaps with wrong checksums and addresses, missing handshakes, an MTU that fragmented everything.

It exposed a second gap: sometimes the frame you need does not exist yet. Frame Bench closes both gaps with the same byte-level care, plus a full crafting toolkit.

Why it matters

Why Frame Bench matters

Editing a capture beats re-capturing it: replaying against an IDS or IPS, fuzzing and anonymizing all become minutes of work.

The difference from a hex editor is the safety net. Health check catches broken lengths and checksums, and every generated packet starts out correct.
